A tailoring house in Bhilai

MAVIINCI begins with a normal tailor family and an uncommon level of dedication. Ibran Ahmad grew up around cutting tables, fittings, suits and fabric rolls. His father was known in Bhilai as one of the rare suit makers of his time, and tailoring became both a family profession and a practical education.

Education, stitching and tender work

While studying, Ibran also learned the business from inside the workshop. As his father began expanding into stitching tenders, he joined the work closely. In 2014, he handled his first major tender that included both stitching and fabric, worth around 5 lakh rupees. That project turned tailoring from family background into personal ambition.

Marketing across India

Ibran then met Mohammad Yaseen, and together they started pushing the work outside their local market. They travelled, marketed across India and kept looking for bigger opportunities. After COVID, an IIT campus exhibition opened a new door. One successful campus led to recommendations for another, and the work began to grow through trust.

A stronger backend for growing orders

Sales were moving well, but production management was becoming difficult. That is when Rizwan Khaleefa joined the journey. With his factory setup and production experience, the team found the missing operational strength needed to serve bigger orders with more confidence.

From campus confusion to a 3D idea

Alongside tailoring, Ibran kept learning Blender, Photoshop, CLO 3D and other creative tools as a hobby. On campuses, he noticed a repeated problem: students were confused about which tie, shirt or suit combination would look right. That problem became the seed of MAVIINCI's digital custom tailoring platform. With Raghvendra, a student from BITS Pilani who understood the idea, the team worked for nearly three years to shape MAVIINCI into the platform you see today.
